A superb design from Swish combines turnout and mesh materials. The turnout section is made of ripstop 1200-denier fabric, which provides protection from those unpredictable rain showers. The lower section is lightweight and breathable nylon offering durability, air flow, sun protection, and fly protection. A longer cut, detachable neck cover ensures your horse gets maximum coverage even when grazing and is secured with double locking Velcro straps. This new rug is designed to protect your horse from insects on showery/cooler days in summer whilst also keeping them dry. It will also be great for over night use for horses that live out 24/7, The turnout part will keep the chill off and the lower section will protect from flies whilst also stopping the horse becoming too warm. The neck is detachable and is lined along the mane to prevent any rubbing.

Nylon Cooler and Combinations Rugs Cleaning advice.

Due to the construction of our nylon cooler and combination UV Rugs, we recommend the following:. Use a Soft bristle brush to remove any dirt on your rug and clean Stubborn stains using a non-biological natural soap and soft bristle brush by hand. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove hair from the lining and seams. We recommend preferably hand washing our nylon rugs separately in lukewarm water or Machine wash on cold cycle without spinning. *No detergent or sealer should be added to the wash, then your rug should be air dried on a rug rack. Use a spray or sponge on water proofer such as Fabsil Gold. Apply sealer only once your rug is clean and dry to fabric outer shell, do not apply sealer to the Nylon Mesh part of your summer rug or the inner lining.

Always check your Rugs throughout the season for wear and tear and at-season changeover. This ensures your rugs can be maintained and repaired when necessary to prolong their lifetime value, season after season. Always fasten clips inward-facing to avoid snagging on fences.
